Albany Diocese says it will not challenge constitutionality of Child Victims Act

The Albany Diocese has “no intention” of challenging the constitutionality of the Child Victims Act, a spokeswoman said.

This comes a day after a downstate diocese filed a claim challenging the law in an attempt to continue to delay survivors’ efforts to obtain justice.

We are prepared to fight any similar challenges by upstate dioceses.
