Jessica B. Rosenthal
Jessica B. Rosenthal is a Law Clerk at LaFave, Wein, Frament & Karic, PLLC, where she supports attorneys in a variety of matters with a primary focus on plaintiff personal injury litigation. A Juris Doctor candidate at Albany Law School, Jessica B. Rosenthal is currently in her third year of study and is currently on track to graduate in May 2026. She works closely with attorneys to support clients through emotionally challenging legal matters, and her empathy drives her approach to client service. Jessica is committed to ensuring that clients feel heard, supported, and understood throughout the litigation process while providing thoughtful, detail-oriented legal assistance.
Prior to attending law school, Jessica graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Philosophy. She also gained valuable experience working as a paralegal at a plaintiff personal injury law firm on Long Island, New York.
At Albany Law School, Jessica has been actively involved in several academic and professional organizations. She previously served as a Research Assistant to Professor Evelyn Tenenbaum and currently holds leadership roles as President of the Non-Traditional Law Students’ Association and Treasurer of the Health Law Society. Jessica is also a former Associate Board Member of the Anthony V. Cardona ’70 Moot Court Program and was named the champion of the Karen C. McGovern Senior Prize Trials competition in Fall 2025.
Jessica joined the firm in August 2025 during her third year of law school. Following the New York State Bar Examination in July 2026, she will return to the firm as a full-time Law Clerk.
