Emily Uhlig is an Associate Attorney with LaFave, Wein & Frament. Previously serving as a Law Clerk with the firm, she was hired following her graduation in May 2019.
A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Emily holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Biology from Washington State University and a juris doctorate from the University of California Hastings College of the Law. Prior to attending law school, Emily served as a legal assistant at a personal injury defense law firm in San Francisco.
Emily says she pursued her law degree because she enjoys interpreting the law and applying it in different circumstances to advocate for those who need representation. She credits the LaFave, Wein & Frament team with creating an environment that promotes a quality experience for clients and coworkers alike.
In her free time, Emily enjoys watching Pac12 Football, trying new restaurants, baking, and “all things coffee.” She is an animal lover and obsessed with her golden retriever, Bruno.
