Wein is on the Board of Directors of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. LaFave has been involved in animal rights and rescue and has served as President of the Albany County Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Upstate and the Academy of Trial Lawyers Third Department.

The verdicts of the firm span decades and show continuing excellence. This includes the highest personal injury verdict in the US for the year 1996 by LaFave. Wein recently received a verdict against all four defendants on behalf of dozens of lakefront property owners as a result of the Hadlock Pond Dam failure. Frament is an active member in the New York State Trial Lawyer’s Association and the New York State Magistrate’s Association. All of the partners in the firm have consistently won significant verdicts.
